Majority is word testing. I never had sentence testing. Maybe

someone here did!

Hello, I know it is late top reply to this message, but it doesnt

hurt to try. I wonder if an cochlear implant/transplant will remove

my tinnitus. Did your tinnitus go away after this operation?

my CI 2 years ago I scored 14% in sentences with bilateral hearing

aids on and roaring tinnitus in my left ear at that time. That was

the key to the qualifying as a CI candidate.

Lars,

It's never too late to ask a question if you want an answer. <smiles>

With the cochlear implant some people report that their tinnitis

diminishes somewhat once they are activated; my opinion would be

that once you are activated, there is sound coming at you that helps

to mask the tinnitis making it less noticeable.
