Guest guest
Actually, Rica, it's best for cats and dogs *all* the time. Cats are carnivores and dogs are opportunistic carnivores; there is no place in their digestive systems for carbohydrates (the main ingredient in all commercial pet foods). Dogs have the same DNA as a wolf, and should eat like one. Guest guest
eats RAW meat!! does anyone here? I eat no meat or dairy. I also don't see eye-to-eye with Mercola on a few things, but that's just my personal opinion. Gloria
Guest guest
I feed my Welsh Corgi 100% raw all the time. His name is Ziggy Marley Jimi Hendrix and he's the healthiest, cleanest dog I know. No fleas and no doggy breath. He gets a raw, organic chicken neck first thing in the morning, around 5 a.m. Then around 5 p.m. he gets about 1/4 cup chopped, organic chicken or turkey and I'm talking all the bird goes in there. Bones, guts, everything but feathers I think. I glop out a scoop into the bowl and throw a whole carrot down there as well. Sometimes he gets an egg, shell and all. Every so often he gets a huge raw, organic beef bone to gnaw on all day long. And he fasts every Saturday night to Sunday night as I do. Guest guest
It's been about 30 years no animal products, but my dog is happy as all the raw meat in the freezer is hers. I don't cook for her. She eats like she is in the woods--raw only. Very healthy too. I can't believe Mercola would eat raw meat, but it's his choice. carolgbollin772000 <Bollin772000@...> wrote: I was totally shocked to resad in one of Dr Mercolas newsletters this

Guest guest
Hi , Didn't know Sally Fallon name till I googled it. She's in favor of animal products. Saw information at http://www.newtrendspublishing.com/SallyFallon/aboutSallyFallon.html "Animal fats and cholesterol are not villains but vital factors in the diet, necessary for normal growth, proper function of the brain and nervous system, protection from disease and optimum energy levels." "Ms. Fallon applied the principles of the Price research to the feeding of her own children, and proved for herself that a diet rich in animal fats, and containing the protective factors in old fashioned foodstuffs like cod liver oil, liver and eggs, make for sturdy cheerful children with a high immunity to illness." == I'm not here to judge others choices but for me I'm not into animal products. This is what makes it exciting: we all make choices that we believe is best for ourselves or our family. carolg Elliott <eliz3378@...> wrote: are you all familiar with sally fallon? Guest guest
Hi Rica, Lots of people think that they eat raw meat. What the majority of them actually eat is a dead decaying corpse full of toxins and poisons. Very few people on this planet truly eat raw living meat from a freshly killed and still warm animal full of dripping juicy blood. Now that is RAW meat and the way we should eat meat if we were truly carnivores, which we are not. We also are not pigs, so we are not omnivores nor are we vultures so we are not scavengers. For some odd reason lots of us humans like to think that we are something other than what we truly are, frugivores.
