Guest guest
If you want those nice long strands of pasta, then I bet you will be hooked on the Spirooli. I just checked one out on eBay. The auction ends tomorrow night and it already has 21 bids on it! I think I'm going to look into it and spring for one. It only makes sense since I would use it a lot. Thanks!! I'll let you know when I get one! Gloria
Guest guest
Gloria, I used to like the spiral slicer, but once I got introduced to the Spirooli last April that ended my using the spiral slicer but a time or two. If you want those nice long strands of pasta, then I bet you will be hooked on the Spirooli. No you don't have to worry about it slipping or just putting small chunks of the zucchini for example in there like I had to with the spiral slicer. I put the whole zucchini on to the Spirooli and turn away without any pain or trouble. Now the trick: If zucchini as the veggie I got to know quite well, get one that is maybe 3" round so that it's not too fat, not loaded with seeds so you can concentrate more on strands. Yes, I like the long ones too as the longer the zucchini the longer my chance of having long strands are. carolgMorningGlory113@... wrote: I also have the spiral slicer and I don't like it.Really Carol? I used my spiral slicer maybe 3 times and it's been sitting on top of the fridge ever since. I'll look into the Spirooli. I like the idea behind spiral slicers but this gadget I got was more trouble than it's worth.Gloria
