Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for asking for me. My skin is dry and itchy. I was checked for this a few years ago and the doc gave me a Rx lotion. I smelled like a medicine cabinet! uuugggghhhh!!! I do think it is toxin, possible candida overload. I read up on black currant, but don't see why it helps my itching, it just does. I remember that a doc tested my and said my fats were not being digested properly, the BC might be giving me what I cannot digest. I plan to purchase some at the end of the week if the itching doesn't stop. uuuggghhh!!! As far as detox goes, I do think the combination of PD and enzymes may just be too much for my delicate, sensitive system. Still, the itching is not as bad as before, just very annoying. God bless, Hazelpone Black Currant Oil Hazelpone, it sounds like Dr. Freeman thinks the itching is from dry skin. I dont' think so, I think you're releasing toxins. Several people over the years have said you get really itchy skin if you release toxins too fast. In fact, there's lots of ways to release the toxins, not just bowel cleansing. Taking iodine for a low thryroid, if you take a bigger dosage than you need then it REALLY makes you itchy. Dr. Freeman prefers Standard Process' LINUM B6 for dry skin but says black currant oil works, too. Is your skin dry or JUST itchy? When I detox too fast, I get itchy even though my skin is not dry (I take flaxseed oil and evening primrose oil pretty regularly). I think I'll ask Dr. Freeman what product cleans out toxins when you're detoxing. I think my former naturopath said Spanish Black Radish (a product I've only seen with Standard Process) is good for cleaning one's blood and purifying you after you've detoxed. -
