No date has been set. We have had to change dates several times for

different reasons. A number of hotel convention spaces are sold out.

We are still in the process of negotiations. Should know in the next

week. Joanne /Coordinator of the Seattle Bash

a, As the Seattle Bash Event Coordinator I can tell you

there is literally hundreds of things that have to be done. Making a

report is not one of them. The best way of learning about

coordinating or helping out in event such as this ,is to jump

in ,volunteer and observe what is going on around you.

Does this mean some folks won some bids and haven't paid up yet, or

something else? I wasn't there this year, so am just curious.

Joanne,

Just wanted to say Thanks again. Perhaps some people don't realize

that long after an event is over there is still work to do. So thanks

again for all the work that goes into these things. I know Donna

raised over $4000.00 or so for the auction this year, hopefully that

will help to cover the costs. What a great auction it was. Thanks to

everyone who participated.

Joanne,

Hi this is son, and Peggy and I would be more than happy to help

with the bash, if you could let us know what all jobs you need, (maybe a list)

the both of would love to help out this year. You did such a fabulous job last

year, but hopefully this year even more people will be able to help you aout

with the months of work you and everyone else put into such a great event!

You know it's this time of year when the request goes out for

last year you would step forward this year, nows the time. We will need

coordinators for entertainment, welcome committee, clothing exchange,

actvites, helpers., etc, etc. No kidding, we need you. Email or call me.

I'll be at this Thursday's Northend Soup night if you want to talk.

If you havn't voted for the Bash date-the votes coming to an end in the

next week. Right now it's 26 for MLK weekend, and 26 for President's

Birthday. 17 don't care. joanne in seattle

Thanks and Peggy for volunteering.

Were also going to need others to step up to the plate now. NO

KIDDING. We've been able to make this one of the

best Bash's in the country by Bandsters and their mates coming forward

and donating their time either to help coordinate an event or to help

out. Let's talk about it after the North End Soup nite this

Thursday.If

you can't come, feel free to email me.

Just a reminder that this is the last week to vote on the Bash Date.

Of course the vote stands at 27 for MLK and 27 for President's Day

with some of you on

the side lines. See you on Thursday. Joanne in Seattle.

Hi

Penny here. I have not added my name to the list because we have a

problem of whether we can come now or not. Since my year for

improving my health was last year it is now time for Bob to do

something about his knees. He is going to have a consultation right

after Christmas and will probably have to have knee surgery after

that so it will blow any plans to get up to Seattle this winter.

However I still am holding a little hope in case he doesn't have to

have the surgery, but it really is just a tiny hope. I really wanted

to meet everyone and to see Dr. Aceves and of course to meet Nina

(finally) but maybe next year...... or maybe we will finally get our

own reunion going--who knows.

I hope your whole family has a great holiday season.
