Guest guest
Jeff, There are a lot of people here who have the implants. Why don't you ask us your questions and keep reading the messages on the list because you will definitely get a lot of information from this group. Welcome to CI Hear. Guest guest
Smiling! Well, I work full time during the day and then..just imagine how many email messages I'd have to read at night - I do check into this at work but almost never respond. Actually, I'd love to learn more and make better use of my CI. I've had my N22 for 14 years now and am considering a bilateral early next year. I'd really like to take AV therapy this time around but...where can I find the time since not only with my job, I'm also a leader in several organizations on state, national and international base. Whew! Jeff Re: my name is jeff I have questions Jeff, There are a lot of people here who have the implants. Guest guest
Jeff, Are you aware of the recent upgrades in processors for the N22? It's called the 3G processor and is made specifically for those with the N22. Several of the folks on this list have upgraded and could probably tell you how they like the change. Something you could do if you don't have time to go for AV therapy if you go bilateral.. if you have any spare time at all would be to go to some of the online sites and practice listening to some of the read along stories or use the ESL lab.. you'd be more or less be giving yourself your own therapy. You'll find several auditory therapy links of you go to our links section. In case you have trouble accessing them.. I'll send you a couple of the links here. http://www.esl-lab.com/ http://international.ouc.bc.ca/pronunciation/ http://www.auditoryverbaltraining.com/websites.htm These are just a few of the sites you can go to for practice. Please let us know if we can be of more help. Warm regards, silly MI In , " Bohrman " <jsbohrman@e...> wrote: > Smiling!
