Thanks for a piece of dandelion history and healings. Since I eat super plain, not much time to cook, and simple does it here, sharing one for dandelion greens salad. My grandbaby here today from TX so wonder if she will like them too--17 months. Dandelion Greens Salad fresh dandelions cut into small pieces add spring mix ore other salad greens (i.e. kale, letttuces, etc) tomatoes avocado add herbs, fresh best Toss all together. If need more moisture you can blend up some tomatoes/celery/garlic/onion and pour over your fresh salad. Usually I can't keep an avocado around here I love them, so hardly one to put in a salad sadly. Buying extra doesn't mean much to my mindset as avocado rocks! carolgwildmouse

In England, there is allusion to it in the Welsh medicines of the thirteenth century. Dandelion was much valued as a medicine in the times of Gerard and Parkinson, and is still extensively employed.DANDELION SALAD WITH ANCHOVY DRESSINGadapted from the San Francisco Chronicle2 bunches Dandelion Greens
