That reminds me...if you can get your dh to pee around them, that will deter the deer also. (You can do it yourself, but it's much easier for a man.<G>)

Blood

meal is made from dried slaughterhouse waste. yum. I certainly would not use it in my garden. I would be afraid of mad cow disease or

something. But I do believe it is good

as a deer deterrent, and is high in nitrogen. If used too much it can burn your plants

because of high levels of ammonia.

me first begin by saying I do not know much about using bloodmeal

as a deterrent or fertilizer, or even bloodmeal in genereal.
