I am so ready for a fill Im going to olympia for a fill with floro within the next week or so. Ive been ready for weeks, I tryed going to a fill without floro in Arlington but they couldent find the port and I still dont know for sure where it is. But, for sure its there somewhere. I have lost 20 pounds from dieting and swimming but I am eating to much. Ive had no restriction since three weeks after banding. even tho I get mad with myself afterward. no new news there. (right) However knowing the weight is gone for good relives alot of stress. I to think the DR and his staff are the kindest medical team on the plant. I feel great, I get a little sore around the big scare somtimes espcially if I get alot of bouncing. Like riding in my husbands Semi Truck. Great reason not to have to go. Guest guest Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 Vickie, I think I have needed a fill since about a month after surgery But I am waiting to see if the Doctor in my area will take Me as a client because I didnt have the surgery in the U.S. I have called a few places and they absolutely refuse This Paticular Doctor says they are studying the different bands and will get back to me the first of July so I diet like I alaways have and I am doing well. I hope that I find a Doctor in My area if anyone knows anyone in the Sarasota Florida area please let me know. Or any surrounding areas. Dieting has been easyier this time then in the past due to knowing the band will be there for me when my willpower packs up and leaves town. And I think its packing!! sounds like your in a difficult situation for a fill doc. I have to travel about 3 1/2 hours not to bad. One day I will go back to Dr A. And make a vacation of it, not this time tho I payed with a credit card, thats all I need to say about that!! Wishing you much health and happiness. Guest guest Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Hi All. I was with you guys in Mexico in May (my surgery was the 11th, but I remember meeting all of you). I have lost 15 lbs, but like Vickie said, I have absolutely no restriction right now, I just got back from a week long trip to California and I pigged out....actually, I do get full with less full then before, but I wouldn't be surprised if I gained a few pounds on vacation. I will be scheduling my first fill for as soon as they will get me in. I feel really good, even though I still have a side stitch from time to time and my shoulder pain has not completely gone away, though its much much better. Now that Im back, Im ready to get back on the ban wagon....but I was happy that not once during my vacation did I feel sick or naseous....I will let you guys know once I get my fill done...hope it doesn't hurt...
