Hey Toni! It is the flowers & berries (skip the leaves) I usually pour about an inch or 2 above the "Mashed down" herbs"... it depends on the quantity I'm making... And if so, would that be an equal ratio to alcohol and would you blend the contents? Suzi What is a weed? Hi Toni

WIth regards to the Hawthorn Berries ... Carl is using them for his heart and we just use the dried berries and make them into a tea as needed much simpler than making tincture.

I made a heap of tincture but it all got thrown out cause I only will use ACV and it was so much easier for Carl to just have tea.

Blessings

Hi Tone

No we are just using the Hawthorne Berries for Carl as we are using other herbs for our lungs too.

Hope you've had a great day and are settled in your new home. We are settled and have lots of rain over the past 2 days. Nice and sunny this morning though.

Do you have any nice places to go near where you live?

Blessings

Tracey

Have you checked the "How to" files? SuziTone <tone102@...> wrote: Hi Trace, Hope you and the family are doing well in health and in your new home. Thanks for the tea tip though I am not the biggest tea lover but will take that over hoards of pills anyday. I was trying to search on how to make the syrup but could find nothing on that. Are you just using the hawthorne berries themselves or adding another herb with them such as Motherwort or something?
