Evel, did you have a lot of pain after surgery? My grandmother has a friend

who just got a ci and apparently loves it after not being able to hear for

15 years or so and I guess she was in a lot of pain right after . Did that

happen for you too? I'm just wondering how common it is.

hi evel

i m so happy that your ci is becoming all you ever wanted it to be and then

some.

thank you for sharing your " ci moments " . you have a wonderful , enthusiastic yet

humbling way of describing them. you make the reader feel as if they can see

exactly what you are going through.

be sure and save all the emails you are sending us. they will be alot of fun to

read again down the road.

I never thought of that before but that is the way I feel every morning

(when I do take off the implant). It is like Christmas every morning even

after four years. I sure dont ever want to go back to the deaf world.

Ok it doesn't dsound too bad then. Hopefully you can get the other side done

soon and I wonder if they've thought of making the processor implantible or

of making in the ear models. I like my in the ear aids because I can use

them with regular things like head sets I don't yet have to buy something

special for music listening although that is worth it enough to me that I'd

do it if I had to
