Guest guest
Sharon-- I am laughing at this post! We can crank it up but turn down our beloved CIs and not worry about our hearing the way the hearing people do. I have to really turn down my CIs when I am at my parents place because they have the volume up sooo loud that I am cringing. They both are hearing impaired now and do wearing hearing aids. My father when he wants to... my mother faithfully but hers need to be be reprogrammed because of her stroke. I dont recall having the TV that loud growing up. Every time I cranked up my family turned it down. So that helped me become an expert lipreader even on cartoons.( dont ask). Guest guest
I finally ordered a portable CD player with AM/FM radio and hope it will help me get back into listening more especially at home. I dont have a stereo so maybe this is my easy-on-the-budget solution. The player has 51 presets, think I will have any trouble finding good stations? Guest guest
No . It sounds as if you have plenty of stations to choose from. I hope you'll share your listening experiences with the new radio. Have fun. Alice
