Guest guest
Raw FalafelFrom Raw Power By Arlin, pg 1361 1/2 cups Walnuts1 1/2 cups Macadamia Nuts2 tablespoons chopped parsley 2 tablespoons chopped chives2 tablespoons Raw Sesame Tahini 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice1 clove garlic, minced1 teaspoon ground cumin1 teaspoon Sea Salt Soak nuts for 15 minutes, tthen drain. Mix all ingredients with a wooden spoon in a large mixing bowl. Then put all ingredients through a Champion Juicer with the blank plate, or a green power or green star with the tension knob removed. Add up to ½ cup water, if necessary. After processing, mix all ingredients thoroughly with clean hands. With the Falafel mixture, mixture, make a small ball (ping pong sized), then flatten the ball to make a patty. Put the patty on a mesh dehydrator tray. Continue until all the mixture is used up Dehydrate for 8-10 hours at 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Makes 35 - 40 patties. Enjoy! NB. I don't have the champion or the like and ended up using a mortar and pestle to break them up (still waiting for my food processor to arrive which should do the job too).
