Guest guest Posted July 12, 2004 Report Share Posted July 12, 2004 It doesn't seem now so long since I was waiting for my CI surgery & now tomorrow, Tuesday July 13th is my hook-up. I am both excited & nervous but believe it was the right decision for me . My audiologist, Kim Twitchell, says all systems are go so I will get my processor tomorrow at University Hospital in London, Ontario. I was implanted with the HiRes & will be getting the Auria with Tmic. Our surgery & all expenses are paid for by our provincial health plan so we don't have as much choice about our equipment as some of you but I am happy about what I will get & like the BTE ( behind the ear) processor & have chosen my colours etc . I won't be home until late on July 14th so may not get to post how I make out until July 15th . Thanks for all your support .
