Guest guest
, That would have been an excellent idea, unfortunately, Dear Petri (prenamed before we acquired him) no longer makes any sound amongst us.. He's gone on to birdie heaven:( LOL.. might have worked too; only problem I'd have had is making it 3 and 1/2 hours getting there with all that sqwaking..One of us would have been making a hasty exit from the car. Guest guest
, I have no idea if there have been any studies done regarding this, but it's an excellent question and now you have me wondering about this as well. Maybe we can hear from some of the other parents whose children were implanted early on. Meantime, I'm going to make some inquiries and see if I can find out anything. I am wondering if anyone has heard or knows of research about the intolerance of sounds and the difference between the little ones who are implanted now and the adults and kids who are implanted later. We have not found one thing that Annika does not like to listen to. I know that this is so good but does anyone know why the difference between them? Just wondering. > > Thanks > > > > > --- > Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. > Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). > Version: 6.0.744 / Virus Database: 496 - Release Date: 8/24/2004 > >
Guest guest
If no one minds I am going to forward this email to my audiologist at the U of MN and see what she has to tell us. I just want to make sure that it is okay that I use your example before I do it. Re: " What is that sound?
