Guest guest
I'm sad that my $75 investment in vegetable plants/soils from the nursery or Home Depot is not performing like my neighbors who just threw seeds in the ground. For example I am wining about my pricey tomato plants, some cukes, some squash that I had to buy because of their rebellious nature in not growing. Now I did not start tomatoes from seeds, but this guy did do that after Mother's Day too. Mine are waking up to the ideas they need to grow in order to be harvested. Next years goal: plant tomato seeds in the garden, invest in soil and keep trying to get the slow moving zucchini growing. I think they are needing food. Maybe it's time for horse manure tea or dried horse mature to go into the garden..the steer compost was probably a waste of money.......from the bags.... Just sharing. carolg
