thanks Sari, yeah I already found that article this past weekend my self. it is

the same operation I was talking about and actually performed by the same

clinic(not doctor, cause Dr. molina died a couple of years ago)

So reading that really threw me off at first, but I have also come across

articles where people have died from the lap-band leaking or what ever. so I was

just curious about what the difference was in the two except for one refills and

one is non-adjustable, which one is better..??

thanks Maggie, I was thinking along those lines too, and it is still a couple

of thousand dollars more then Dr. Aceves's surgery.

I was just first thinking you wouldn't have to hassle with fills, but if you ate

to much for to long and stretched it out, with it being nonadjustable you are

right it wouldn't work anymore.

thanks for giving that advice, it's nice to have other peoples opinion on stuff.

Is the midi band the nonadjustable one and is it better or not better then the

lap-band, hmmmmmmm I guess I will have to ask Nina.
