TO Phyliss and all the other soon to be bandsters: I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I had surgery in June, of last year and fixing to have my second surgery, and I just wanted to say, I never expereinced any shoulder pain, no gas and very little diarreha, I went back to work 4 days after surgery and did just fine, everyone will be different. So not always will everyone experience all of these side effects. The worst part for me was after a week of surgery I started having major hunger pains, that were to die for and coming out of anesthia from surgery was the worst for me I had a bit of anixety, which I am not looking forward to again, but was told by someone to let the docs know and they can give me something for it prior to putting me under which will help when I do wake up. SO my fingers are crossed, I leave in two days, and will be so glad to get rid of this burning sensation in the bacck of

my throat, I have lived on Mylanta for the last three days. I believe this is a sign that my band is not in the right place. Take care everyone sorry so long. THanks so much and to all the others who I know i will be in there thoughts, the most exciting part is I get to see Dr. A., yolanda, and get to have the chicken broth again, Woo Hoo. If I had the choice and funds, I would always let Dr. A do my fills, for those who live close enough it is well worth it. Well I found him through Dr. A but he is in Grand Prairie, Texas Dr. Dobson and Dr. at the Dallas Fort Worth Institute of Body Scultpuring. Thanks! I need to sign a form and return it. Also need to make an appt with my primary care doc and be sure she doesn't think there's a contraindication to me having the procedure. And, I'll make contact with Nina and find out how to schedule a date. I'm at a conference most of next week so I'm not sure what I will get done before I take off Tuesday.
