Guest guest Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Hi , Give the audiologist a call and tell her you need more volume NOW, not 4 weeks from now. Some day you might be happy that Hobbes' barks are only a whisper. I feel that way when Phoenix does the nightly serenade with the Fire Engines. Tweaking is a term used in CI, that means adjusting things until they are the best they can be. It can be louder, softer, harsher, smoother, just about anything. The audiologist " tweaks " the map to get it better. Never heard the term used outside of mapping CIs. Nucleus Volunteer .. Voices are nothing but a whisper even with the louder program they gave me. Even cars and Hobbes barking are a whisper. on 'tweaking' you mean make it weaker? :> susan ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
