Please for your sake, if you do not have anti-virus, invest in it,, it is worth it. My anti-virus scans daily (automatically) and it scans all incoming emails (also automatic). Think of it... for less than 5 dollars a month, good investment! Lee

Guest guest
Lee, Glad to hear your computer scanned clean. The W32Netsky is a really persistent worm. This e-mail header is consistent with the W33Netsky Worm I started scanning before i got your email....... my puter is fine..... i talked to a friend of mine who is " puter smartypant " , she said............. someone that has my email-address stored on his/her computer is infected with this virus. This virus is capable of " spoofing " the sender address. In other words, it pretends to come from me, but in reality it comes from the infected computer. Guest guest
You know I think that is what happened to me. I was getting undeliverable emails and had no idea who they were to. Not often, just once in awhile. My server said I must have a virus but when I checked.. nope. susan & hobbes michigan At 09:12 PM 5/20/2004 -0400, you wrote: >In a message dated 5/20/2004 3:19:16 PM Pacific Standard Time, >bingrao@... writes: >Please scan your computer. Guest guest
Be vewy vewy kareful with your emails. If an email is the slightest bit odd, delete it, dont even bother trying to find out who sent it. It is getting so commonplace now to get suspicious emails that its a waste of time to do anything beyond deleting it. And keep your anti virus software up to date! For that matter, set it to auto update. Do weekly full scans. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* A smile is the same in any language. & Gimlet (Guide Dawggie) Portland, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rlclark77@... http://home.comcast.net/~rlclark77/
