Sensitivity Tweaking

Ok, question for the 3G users.... The current auto sens map works

fairly well. What I have noticed tho is, the point at which it works

best is very narrow. Trun it down too far and I cannot hear the

eprson i am talking with. Turn it up too much and I get too much

background. There is very little range between these two points.

Conversations in restaurants is doable if I use the aux mic but I want

to rely on this less. On the light rail system which uses automated

stop announcements, I get them most times except when the car is full

of chatting people. Again, its a very fine line at which the map

works in this kind of environment.

Ideas?

what about the whisper setting to back up your map in those situations . I

find that to work a charm or train Gimlet to listen for your stop on the train

and get your attention.

Snoopy,

I will try Whisper, cant hurt. Train Gimlet to understand human

speech? I know that wont work, I say things to her that would get me

in trouble of someone overheard me! LOL But the light rail is noisy

so dunno.

beat me to this answer . Have you tried whisper? I didn't think

about Gimlet but I do think whisper would answer your need.

Happy Birthday too !!!
