Guest guest
do you still have a gall bladder? where does your stomach hurt? your actual stomach? there are so many thing that it COULD be that my best advice is to go to your doctor & /or call Dr. Rutledge (or whomever did your mgb) & ask. could be h.pylori, gall stones, gas, ulcer, gastritis, appendicitis...the list goes on. stacey Hurting stomach > I have a question for you guys. Guest guest
Hi n, I recently had the exact same experience. I was about 15 months out when it happened. I all of a sudden had very bad pains in my stomach - up high between my ribs. The pains were on and off and lasted about two days. I had heard that some people have gall bladder problems after surgery so I went on line and looked up gall bladder " stuff. " It really seemed like I was having some type of gall bladder attack. One reason I think this is because I had eaten a great deal of fat in the day before the attack. I understand that too much fat can affect the gall bladder. Since it went away and has not come back so far I haven't pursued finding out the cause. But, I will tell you I will never eat fatty ribs again!!
