Guest guest
Hmmm chickweed tea.... does that taste good? I'd be interested in any other weight loss teas anyone knows about. I've heard Green Tea is good for that; does anyone use it? Know what weird exercise thing I've started lately? I got a core ball... not sure if there's a difference between that and a yoga ball (probably not - it's just a big ball) and when I get home from work and am beat and really tired (and the last thing I want to do is exercise) I sit on the ball and watch TV. Just sitting on it keeps your "core" muscles active - they have to be or you'll fall off. And I start bouncin on it which I can feel in my leg muscles... if I lean forward my thigh muscles get a workout... But I don't get bored because I'm watching something entertaining and just bouncin around like a little kid - after 1/2 hour I just kind of forget I'm doing it. It's not too tiring but when you get off your muscles are pretty sore. I make it a point to sit on it every time I watch TV. I figure after a week or two I'll know if it's doing any good. For now - it makes my muscles work and keeps me from sitting on the couch motionless. I've also noticed I've had more energy lately.... but that could be the whole quitting smoking thing, too. -----Original Message-----From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of Sent: Saturday, January 21, 2006 10:40 PMhealth Subject: Re: OT - Just talk so what are you doing up so late Suzi ?? I am going through the files and making up all kinds of teas to drink both at home and at work. WOW this is an adventure. I am looking into both green tea and chickweed for weight control. I am sleeping better with the caffeine reduction and have noticed that my clothes fit a little better with the change in eating habits. I have considered my options and really think that going mostly Raw with my veggies and only eating some cheeses and no other dairy, no sugar, and only Fish ( Wild Salmon and fresh Lake trout) as my main meat and fresh fruit and veggie juices that I can stay on this and be happy with it. I cannot go all Raw and Meatless as that is just not who I am. But I can make lots of improvements in my life. I just need more incentive to get exercise. Too cold and yucky to walk outside and the treadmill inside is just too boring. Oh well I'll get it figured out.
