Guest guest
Hi , If I found out I was going to hear normally again tomorrow, I'd call Oprah! Or maybe the Pope. Even if I got hearing back in the unimplanted ear I'd be on the phone making the calls. Did have something like that happen to me once. Was really down in the dumps when the hearing in my only hearing ear took a nose dive. I was sitting around feeling sorry for myself and doing the usual, " Why Me? " type questions. And I " heard " a voice, in my head, but not outloud saying, " Ask and you shall be given " So I asked for hearing. And the next day I woke up and could hear again, using my hearing aids. Hadn't been able to use them for weeks prior. And was able to continue using the hearing aids for close to 10 years until someone ran me over while I was riding a bicycle. SO, perhaps miracles do still happen, and all you have to do is ask. I don't mean just hear, I mean really hear like most people do. How would it impact your life? Would you still belong to this group? What would happen to the people here that are or have come to be so important to you? Would you stay in touch with them and if so, what would you talk about? Would the news be a blessing or a heartbreak? Some of you must wonder, if I sit around and wonder. I don't - I think about the technical issues a lot, but I wonder more about the wonder. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
