Guest guest
Cheryl, I had a GREAT time at the picnic weekend. Just so everyone will know, we had a blast Saturday night after the picnic. We went to a show and out dancing. MGBer's know how to have fun! I know as we were all out on the dance floor shaking it up to " Celebration " I was thinking " man if any one group of people had a REASON to celebrate it would be us. " I hope next time your knee will be healed and you can go out with us and party til we close the doors. The Christmas party seemed to be a informal " yes " to me. I think the plans just need to be made. CLOS is working on it, or at least that was the impression I got. I know I will do my best to be there, and I'd be happy to help with the plans if needed. I want to say to everyone, how nice it was to meet you and talk and hang out. One other thing. in Va you are a darling, I don't know who cussed you out, but they had to be half stupid and we won't miss them on the posting list. Thank you for all you do to keep the newbees on the straight and narrow, and for giving encouragement when we all can use it. I personally want to do a MGB cruise. Ok well I want to do ANY sort of cruise. Stay beautiful everyone and hope to get together again soon. Marilyn, ps I'm in pic 14 on the web site, sitting next to Dr Don. What a nice man. I told him I'd be talking to him in the future about a nip and tuck here and there. ;-)
Guest guest
I agree! I had a terrific time at the picnic and the comedy club and dancing afterwards. The club at the Sheraton Four Season in Greensboro was great. Maybe we can work out a deal with them for the Christmas Party? I for one would love to come and will even work on hotel discounts for a group if people are interested. Let's hear from you guys! in DC PS please let us all share pics! Guest guest
Marilyn, Hey you!! Ms Party-organizer and 'no-problem' gal! I was the one who brought up the " MGB Cruise " . . . The idea came out from the week my g/f spend in NC with me for 'my dance'. We made a deal that in one year, we'd spend time together again - and *celebrate* the anniversary. A 'something' to absolutely look forward to. There were 8 of us at the staple removal party that week.. and we floated the idea then. So... think about the last week in June or so . . if you - and anyone else is interested, let me know... I'm going to be looking into options! Hugs, Marley 6-24-04 This time she can bring her husband, lol. (For all the time they spent on the cell phone, it's be cheaper.. lol) <snip snip> > I personally want a MGB cruise. Guest guest
The four seasons would be great for a Christmas dance party. Wonder how much they cost per night???? Marilyn
