Hi Anne,

I read a post that said we couldn't have chrystal light several months ago.

Now I am wondering

since you are drinking it if we can have it? I am also wondering about the

Aspartame hope someone

The manual doesn't state whether you can have aspartame or not. It is a

personal preference. I quit using it because of some articles that I read

about it. In one article it stated that aspartame was linked to cause

symptoms of lupus and multiple sclerosis. It doesn't cause the diseases

themselves, just the symptoms of them.

In an other article it stated that aspartame turns to wood alcohol in your

body and can do damage to the liver. Now I don't know how true that is, but

I don't like taking chances and just quit using aspartame all together.

Better safe than sorry. Besides, Splenda is a better sugar substitute. You

could do a Google search and see what kind of information there is out there

on aspartame. Hope this helps.

What you read is enough for me....I don't use it now but was thinking about

using it. I think it is better if I stay away from it.
