Guest guest
Congratulations. I will be celebrating my 3rd year on February 11th. I started at 241 pounds and I now weigh 155. My health is in pretty good shape with the exception on a low iron count. That is being corrected. Overall my life is much better.Mg in Chicago
Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, Congrats!!!! It was good seeing your post. Wow, It doesn't seem possible that it has been three years for you. I have to share with you that you were one of my inspirations to get the MGB surgery. I was a just a bit nervous because of my age. (57 yrs old) and when I saw how successful you were with your surgery, It was easy for me to go ahead with mine. Thank you for all the help and inspiration you have been with the patients that followed you, especially us older ones. Take care, Tom Hickey, Cape Cod Dr R. 02/06/02.......373/170/???.....down 203 lb. and feeling great!!!

Guest guest
Hi Rosemary ! Congratulations on your great success ! I am glad you made it through the plastic surgeries... and I am so sorry for the loss of your love. But I am sure he is watching your every successful step ! I too am 3 years post op.. as of Sept 03. I have also gained about 20 lbs... and was and have been freaked out ! I am so afraid of gaining weight.. and after losing so much.. I think I might have gotten a bit to confident that this will always be easy.. well... ITS NOT ! I will battle this the rest of my life. I am getting ready to begin all the plastic surgery that I need to have.. I'm getting married at the end of the month.. and closing on our new home.. so I am wanting to finish those things... then I will begin that phase.. Is there anything you would recommend as far as the plastic surgery goes.. what to do .. what not to do.. what to watch for ? Thank you for your time ! And Congratulations !!! ~ ~ >From: RoCommisso1@... >Reply- >bell_margaret@..., marissaj@..., >MGB_patients , , >MGB-Maintenance , npanico@..., >betbyron@..., pcperry@..., RoCommisso1@..., >MRudden@..., Dr_Rutledge@... >Subject: 3 years today >Date: Tue, 27 Jan 2004 00:30:21 EST > >Today Jan 26.2004 it is 3 years I had my MGB surgery with DR, Rutledge in >Durham Reginal Hospital.
