Looks like you can make Complete Nutrition also (under Natural Herbal remedies) Suzi <phoward@...> wrote: OK guys my reorganization of my herbs is complete. In my closet diving last night I found that I really had gone overboard at one point with my herbs. While I think I can save and use most of them I did have to throw out or compost some. I even found a batch of Total Tonic that has to be at least 18 months old as I have e made several batches since then. WOW let me tell you this stuff is strong. It still has the mash in it and when I tasted it I cleared my sinuses, blew smoke out of my ears and yelled WHAAHOO at the same time. Still tastes OK nothing rancid or bad so I will start using it. I will probably add some tumeric to it now and let it sit for a few days while I finish off the last of another batch. I am going to go to the store now and get some lemons for my water and some carrots and celery for juicing as well as look into more salad greens and trying to figure out how to take some of this to work instead of always eating the very filling but high carb and starch foods that they fix and prepare for the boys. Nothing will be organic at this point until I can get to the City (125 miles away) but that should be at the end of this month. Below is a list of the herbs and formulas that I was able to save. Would some of you take a quick look and tell me what else you think would be good to have on hand for my new change in lifestyle - basically weight loss, quitting smoking, eating much better, healthier, and more RAW, Stress reduction and yes even eventually getting off the coffee, but that is going to be the tough one. Sheesh!! Lobelia can help with the smoking. But if you are not totally ready to quit then it is a moot point. Same with the caffeine. Although it would be very good for you to cut down on the caffeine considerably. As for your diet, well try to eat as much raw foods as you can. Stay away from grains and starchy foods and eat tons of greens and fruits. You can utilize lightly steamed if you feel the need. With a dietary change and plenty of exercise you should have no problem with losing any weight. Just don't rush it or you will crash big time and then binge even bigger time. Stimulants are what lead us afoul. Too much pepper, salt, cayenne, garlic and onions can lead to overeating. Salt is especially bad for this. So try to use less of these and just learn to enjoy the subtle flavors found in the raw foods. There are quite a few alternatives to coffee, herb teas, fresh fruit juices, and water. Plain water being best. Personally, I think you need to see how you fare after your " cleanse " . Take it one day at a time. If you can cut out the nicotine and begin lowering your coffee consumption and replacing it with more healthy drinks you will be better off. It won't be an easy row to hoe that is for sure. But then if you weren't able to handle it you would not be around right now. After all , you made it through the last two years and you are still kicking and screaming. By the way, what ever happened to that group of guys you went tooling around the country side with? Hehehe -- Peace be with you, and keep us posted.
