Guest guest
Hi Suzi, Now I thought that things like hot peppers along with cayenne which would be classified as something hot n spicy, were supposed to be good if I recall correctly from past posts? I have really bad ulcers and my son blames them on the garlic and hot peppers that I eat. I guess somethings are not good in excess eh? Thanks for the info as always Suzi Hope you and everyone are well and enjoying this lovely Wednesday. Guest guest
Cayenne will heal an ulcer, however i'm not sure about it attacking the h. pylori, which is an infection, it is is a spiral-shaped bacterium that is found in the gastric mucous layer or adherent to the epithelial lining of the stomach. You need to treat the infection first, then heal the ulcer. Guest guest
Thanks Suzi, I was first diagnosed with ulcers at the age of 14. Back then there was no such thing or at least unknown bacteria called h.pylori. I was tested for that bacteria though many years ago when a serious episode left me in pretty bad shape. I have in the 'past' been prescribed numerous medications along with milk (blech) and anti ulcer diets to sometimes living on baby food. I recall in wilder days literally doing a shot of milk with my shot of scotch to counteract it lol geez Like everything I know that there are numerous factors involved. Was just curious about the hot n spicy thing and how maybe peppers would relate here. Thanks so much again Toni Cayenne will heal an ulcer, however i'm not sure about it attacking the h. pylori, which is an infection, it is is a spiral-shaped bacterium that is found in the gastric mucous layer or adherent to the epithelial lining of the stomach.
