SIL’S THIRD ANNUAL DISABILITY AWARENESS FAIR: Abilities, Attitudes, and Awareness

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, an annual observance that dates back to 1945. To wrap up National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Services for Independent Living, Inc. (SIL), a nonprofit agency that offers services and advocacy to people with disabilities in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain Counties, is hosting its THIRD ANNUAL DISABILITY AWARENESS FAIR: Abilities, Attitudes, and Awareness in the concourse of the Parmatown Mall, 7899 West Ridgewood Drive, Parma, Ohio 44129 on Saturday, October 28, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The fair is open to the public; admission and parking are free, and RTA transportation is available to Parmatown Mall. Social service organizations, governmental entities, businesses and vendors that offer services and products to individuals with disabilities will showcase their products, share agency/company information, and disseminate materials to the general public.

Please join SIL in commemorating National Disability Employment Awareness Month and in celebrating abilities, positive attitudes, and awareness. For more information about the fair, contact Gold by phone at 216-731-1529 (Voice/TTY) or by e-mail at lgold@....
