Guest guest
Dr. Rimland has sadly passed away There are so many good people out there who are researching, testing and contributing to help our children with autism. Words cannot express my gratitude for Dr. Rimland's contribution to all who have children with autism. I'm thankful that he had a heart to help us parents find answers to helping our children recover. My son has accomplished so much over the last 3 and half years. To have my son be able to relate to me, gaze into my eyes and enjoy being held is one very much appreciated part of his recovery. Thanks to Dr. Rimlands research, my son can learn without a lot of repetition, he can look at a TV screen, where in the beginning before the dietary and supplements he wasn't able to look at the screen. He doesn't cover his ears when the VCR is running a tape. (even with no volume on the tv he covered his ears when a tape was sighlently running in the VCR.) He no longer sweats oddly in the back of his neck, before biomedical treatment he used to sweat exessively in the back of his neck, where his hair was wet much of the time. He used to have an odd smell coming from his ears that is no longer there. These are biomedical evidence of recovery. My heart goes out to Dr. Rimland and his family, friends and everyone who is saddened by his passing. We will always remember his great contribution to the autism community. Thanks to him there are many more hearts willing to keep moving forward continuing research and helping all who seek recovery through biomedical interventions.
