Hi everyone, I would like to make this announcement again, even though it is a repeat from an earlier email, just to make sure that nobody missed it. A small group of parents have been working on establishing a foundation for ASD children and their families to help with the variety of needs and expenses we have. My husband Don and Greg are working on the legal and administrative part of esptablishing this group. I am trying to see if there would be any more people from this list interested in volunteering so that we can put a fundraiser together by the end of the year. We tought about a pancake breakfast around the holidays.....but I need a few people. So far, it's me, Laurie Kowalski, and Suzanne Shaft said she would try to help as much as she can. I am not sure if this many volunteers would be enough to pull a fundrasier off....I think I would be more comfortable to have 6-10 people working

with me on this project. All volunteers would of course be eligible to apply for funds. Board members wouldn't be able to benefit for a year or so, that is why we need to have rotating board members. So....pls let me know soon if you are interested and able to volunteer a few hours every week (2-3 hrs per week at the most, and maybe a little more on the week of the event). Thanks so much in advance. Again, this is a modest start, but we need to begin somehow. I am just as busy as everyone else, but with a little investment of time we may be able to pull our community resources together to help our children better!! Take care,
