Broadmoor School:

Broadmoor School is contracted through the Lake County MR/DD. All residents who qualify can attend this school without tuition. Chartered by the Ohio Department of Education, our school age program offers a multi-disciplinary approach for children and young adults. The individual-centered curriculum emphasizes academic, emotional and social growth. Computer-assisted adaptive technology and community based vocational skills training are incorporated on an individual basis.

Did you know that… Billiart school was established to meet the needs of children from grades 1 to 8 who have learning difficulties. It was founded in 1954 by the Sisters of Notre Dame at Ansel Road, in Cleveland, Ohio. As more space was needed, the school was relocated to the Arter Estate in Lyndhurst, Ohio. The beautiful mansion was gradually converted into classrooms, offices, and other types of rooms for specialized instruction. Beginning in 1970, an expansion and changes were made to the original structure to allow for an enrollment of about 125 students. Other changes and adjustments followed through the years. This school is limited to children with moderate to high functioning autism. Monarch School - Location: Shaker Heights, Ohio

Founded in 2000, Monarch School is a chartered nonpublic school in Ohio that provides ideal special education programs for children with autism. The Monarch Boarding Academy is an extraordinary residential learning environment created specifically for children and teens on the autism spectrum.

Monarch School and Monarch Boarding Academy operate under the auspices of Bellefaire JCB, a pioneer in the care, treatment, and education of young people for more than 130 years. Our location on a beautiful, 32-acre suburban campus in Shaker Heights, Ohio, includes playing fields, walking paths, a gymnasium, and many amenities essential to children's success.

Pat Day - (Preschool) - Located in Cuyahoga County, Cleveland, Ohio

Pat Day Day Early Childhood Center offers home services, toddler and preschool programs including an Autism program. There are many therapies including, swimming, movement and music, and art. They also offer the Method for children with sensory integration needs. Qualification by CCBMR/DD assessment and city school disctrict approval.
