Guest guest
Hi Christene, Nice to have you on board! My grandson, Noah just turned 5 and will be attending the Achievement Center as a per-schooler this fall. He starts camp on July 5th. He attended Upson School in Euclid for 4 half days/week for 2 years. They felt that they could no longer meet his Speech and other therapy needs in the time they were able to give him. It is hoped that more intensive therapy will prepare him for Kindergarten, the following year. My dd had a choice between The Achievement Center and Monarch, but the AC is easier to access from Euclid. I have heard good things about Monarch. What Eastern Suburb are you from? The kids are the same age... maybe we can get them together for a playdate sometime. Along with other members from the group, I am looking forward to sharing info and learning from you, as well! -Trish > > Hello, > I am a new member. > My name is Christene, and my son was diagnosed with autism PDD a little less than 3 years ago. Guest guest
Hello Trish, I'm so pleased to get your email. My son, just turned 5 as well and we are in the Euclid school systems. He really benefited from the great work at the ACC. Something I am interested in is having a classroom created that could suport the needs of primary school kids who could be integrated in a phased approach to the typically developing classroom. There has been little appetite for this in the past. I would love to have our children get together for a play date. is 5 and is just beginning to develop some social skills. We usually go down to the a park on the lake that is fenced (we belong to the Beach Club) Let me know what times are good for you. Generally, I work during the weekdays, but I am home by 5. Looking forward to hearing from you. C Trish <minniemimi1@...> wrote: Hi Christene, Nice to have you on board! Guest guest
Hi Christene, How cool is that??? We are practically neighbors! I take Noah and the kids to Sim's park a lot as they love wading in the lake. I think I know what beach club you're talking about. I live in a condo right across Lakeshore Blvd. You are probably pretty close! I commute back and forth between Dublin (near Columbus) and Euclid a lot. I'm in Dublin more during the summer, but I will be going back for a few days after July 8th. I definately would like to get the boys together. Does you're little guy like to swim? My condo has a great pool that starts at 2 1/2 feet. My dd works evenings, but on her day off (usually Tues) it would be good if we can all get together. We'll talk about it. I'll e-mail you offlist, probablly at the end of next week to make plans! Do you have other children? Noah's sibs are Abbey 10, 7, and MacKenzie 3. Looking forward to meeting you! -Trish > > > > Hello, > > I am a new member. > > My name is Christene, and my son was diagnosed with autism > PDD a little less than 3 years ago.
