I am reading an incredible book right now and I urge you to check it out. It's called "Letters to Sam" I heard an interview on NPR and thought I'd like it before I knew what it was about b/c the author was such an incredible inspiration, then I found out that it is a compilation of letters that he had written to his grandson who was dx'd with autism. AMAZING book.

Hmmm, how interesting. I will have to find it and read it. I just finished "There's a boy in here" for the second time. I read it years ago when my ds was first dx'd. I just read it again and it was better because I have more perspective to my life as well. My oldest is so much like the boy in the book.

Isn't that the Barron book? I have heard him speak and I like him very much, such a nice man.

Yes, that is the one. I haven't heard him speak. I would like to eventually. But the book is really good, IMO.
