Like I wrote previously, I don't always know who is writing what

because some intersperse there answers in the previous message,

others put their's first and yet others...

So I'll write to to the part that talks about being in the

classroom. If you have the schedule for it, it is imperative you

monitor/visit the classroom. Whether you like the teacher or not,

the staff, you trust and believe everything, there is nothing like

seeing. In this state you can go a step beyond that and audio

record while monitoring (as long as one party knows there is is

recording going on/you, you are okay). This is called 'adverse

assumption', a tenet I believe in whole heartedly. Hope for the

best, but plan for the worst.

Also, send in third disinterested parties to document what they

see. I do not mean uncle Joe and aunt Sally; but a qualified third

disinterested party.

I've worked with a handful of families in the year-plus I've

been baptized by autism and while I've learned with each 'incident'

I feel we've been lucky and knock-on-wood are batting-a-thousand.

While this cannot go on forever the rule of 'adverse assumption' has

served me well!
