Guest guest
I will only answer for me. I was laughing out loud. That was so funny. I can relate, don't know what that says about me. I personally was not offended and it was indeed funny. I was just leaving for work and you made my day. Thanks Shirley (mojomom) 9 Volt Batter Taste > Here's a new one for you. Or maybe not. Guest guest
Yes! I know exactly what you mean. If I'm poking around in my ear with a cotton bud and hit a certain spot it feels like the hole side of my tongue is going to explode, something like when you taste something really bitter, but much more intense. I think it must be something to do with the nerves. It happens if wind get in there too. Just another one of the little quirks we have to lean to live with. P.S There are two essential ingredients for surviving life with this monster in your head, " a good sense of humour and faith (in something) " . Guest guest
Hello ~ They say that laughter IS the best medicine. In our situations you have to laugh or go insane. I am two months post op and still have that lousy taste in my mouth. I cannot find the words to describe the taste I have but cannot say it is not a 9 volt battery taste :-) I will say though when I take a shower I have noticed an even stronger horrible taste and just thought it was my imagination. I have found that lemon drops and lemonade help out a lot but then it aggravates the heartburn. Can never win. A friend of mine did find lemonade gum that I break little pieces off and chew until it doesn't help anymore and then switch to a new piece. It does help for a little while. It is getting better but not fast enough. Thanks for the chuckle. Good Luck with your ear. Lori
Guest guest
Hi , OH MY GOODNESS. This had me ROTFLMAO. I made my husband read it and see if he could relate. HE COULD!!! Thanks for the laugh. I sure needed it. (aka purr_30) > Here's a new one for you. Or maybe not. Maybe I'm a freak of nature > and I have this strange feeling. Let me explain it to you.
