Subj: Invitation for Brecksville Center for the Arts Exhibit Opening Date: 5/31/06 4:56:34 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: ROBERTSON@... (Holt-on, Lula)

During the month of June, we will have an exhibit of artwork by individuals enrolled with CCBMR/DD at the Brecksville Center for the Arts, 8997 Highland Road (south off of Rt. 82, two lights east of I-77). There will be an opening reception Sunday, June 4th, from 2-4 p.m. Or stop in any weekday from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. or Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The exhibit ends June 27th.

Diane Fusco, widow of Fusco, long-time CCBMR/DD staff member and former superintendent of the Geauga County Board of MR/DD, helped to arrange for the exhibit at the center in her community. She is hosting the Sunday reception.

The parking lot is small, so it may be crowded on Sunday. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance at the back of the building. Unfortunately, the restrooms do not appear to be accessible, except for very compact, trim wheelchairs. (The outer restroom door will be the problem. Once inside, there are grab bars.)

Below is a list of the CCBMR/DD artists on exhibit. [There are also some CCBMR/DD artists whose work Carolina from Art on Wheels took to the exhibit, but I do not have a list of those individuals. You would need to contact her to find out whose work she has submitted.] The Geauga County Board of MR/DD also has several pieces that are a part of the exhibit.
