new to group..have question

Hi- I'm new to the group (and am so glad I joined). I have a 26 month old son who was recently diagnosed with autism. I have heard that it is quite common for autistic children to have loose stool (as my son does). Has anyone had success with any supplements/medications or diets to relieve this problem? I would love to hear about any experiences any of you have had. I will be taking my son to see a DAN doctor in a few weeks. Thank God for all of you! It really helps to know that there are others out there that are going through what my family is going through. I feel so overwhelmed (as I'm sure all of you do) with my son's recent diagnosis.
