Guest guest
Hi Marie When a CWD is carried out, the shape of the ear canal entrance is changed so there is no point buying molded earplugs until after the ear heals. Kazz :-)
Guest guest
Oh, thanks, I was wondering about that. Will the silicone plugs work in the meanwhile for hairwashing? Marie
Guest guest
Ah, okay, thanks. I was wondering if I had to hurry to get these special plugs and now I know I don't. One less thing to worry about. That's the great thing about this support group. Marie
Guest guest
Usually, you will need to use a cotton ball covered in vaseline or something similar right after surgery as they don't want to put any pressure on the inside of the ear. After the ear has healed some, then you can use the silicone plugs until you get your molded plugs. Candy > Oh, thanks, I was wondering about that.
