Hi Marie

When a CWD is carried out, the shape of the ear canal entrance is changed so there is no point buying molded earplugs until after the ear heals.

Ah, okay, thanks. I was wondering if I had to hurry to get these special plugs and now I know I don't. One less thing to worry about. That's the great thing about this support group.

Usually, you will need to use a cotton ball covered in vaseline or

pressure on the inside of the ear. After the ear has healed some,

then you can use the silicone plugs until you get your molded plugs.
