We have been down the biomedical road for the last 5 years and have seen slow steady improvements, but still have a long ways to go. We have seen some of the best DAN docs in the country. I can't help but think that we are missing some pieces. Thru a process of elimination and looking at my son's history as an MMR/varicella regressor, I think that the missing pice may be viral testing and potential treatment. I have read that Dr DeMio does prescribe LDN and Valtrex. I am hoping someone here can tell me what specific immune testing he does to determine if your child is a good candidate for these medications. Does he order the autism premier panel frim Immuno- Scince? Or some other test or combination of tests? If possibel I would like to come prepared withthe testign inhand so we can discuss treatmetn at the first visit. Thanks so much. Beth Steenbergen P.S.
