Your story sounds like mine. Big sisters first born had a bad reaction and

is not the same kid. Middle sister first born had his first round of shots

and was hospitalized. Neither sister vaxed their second children. I don't

know if this is a family history but I was not about to take a chance. When I

told my ped this she though I was ridiculous and kicked me out of her

practice. I know what I am doing is right, but I am so glad to have some

family support and most of all this group which keeps educating me and

confirming my believes.

Hi everybody! If you want encouragement for breastfeeding, just ask me. I

breastfed my first son until he was four years old, and my second, until he

was six! Did it in public until he was three. Don't let anyone discourage

you. (It was so long ago, now, that even I am amazed.) Sandy

My husband is considered stage 1. I know how bad he feels sometimes

(lethargic, exhausted, etc.). I can't imagine how you folks who are in

stages 3 and 4 must feel.

Welcome, Gloria.

You are very lucky, you have an exceptional

Doctor. If I were you I would start the Cytomel right

away. Why WOULDN'T you? You should feel different in a

couples short weeks, not like a month or months with T4

medication. The damage you do to your body by NOT taking it,

FAR exceeds if you take it and don't really need it.

joanna,

welcome to the group and congratulations on your pregnancy!! i applaud you for looking into this matter before you are faced with it and a newborn at the same time (it's very hard to make important decisions when there are sooo many new and confusing things to learn/do with a first baby!!)

don't worry, the more comfortable you get with not vaxing, the less you'll feel you need to shield your baby from every little thing (i hope) ;o)

hope you learn alot!!

Welcome, Joanna! And congrats on your pregnancy - I'm sure you will find

this list informative AND reassuring; there are over 500!!! of us here

questioning vaxes, and lots of us have unvaxed kiddos who are wonderfully

healthy & strong. Where are you from and when is your due date? (if you

don't mind my asking!)

Welcome Joanna! Correct me if I'm wrong out there, but breastfeeding will

protect your baby from many things, and at a certain point you want your

child to be exposed to the environment in order to develop a strong immune

system. For what it's worth, I nursed my first child until he was four and

the second until he was six. They both started preschool at least part-time

when they were three. And it was before there were so many vaccines. My

kids hardly ever got sick and when they did they always got well quite

quickly. I know you can't generalize from one person's experience to

another, but I was as paranoid as anyone but learned from experience that

your children don't become strong by protecting them too much. Of course

it's a balancing act deciding when to do what and each parent has to decide

for him or herself (and hopefully they can agree....). Good luck! Sandy

Hi Joanna...I personally believe that your decision not to vaccinate is

wonderful. The more you read and investigate the issue, the more comfortable

you will become with that decision. My son is 21 months old (first baby

also) and I felt the same way that you describe. I didn't take him out for

the first 2 -3 months, and then I realized that if I ever wanted him to

build any immunities, he had to be exposed to SOMETHING. So, I started

taking him out slowly here and there, and just keeping him away from anyone

questionable until he was about 6 -7 months old. Then I started letting him

be around people with colds, etc, and much to my surprise, he rarely caught

anything anyway. I also am breastfeeding, and he doesn't (and won't) go to

daycare (I am lucky enough to be able to stay at home and still pay the

bills), so those are two factors in his favor. Anyway, welcome...you sound

like you will be a great mom...

Hi Joanna,

I also became aware of the vaccine issue when I was

pregnant, and in the learning process I went through

periods where I was also scared - not only scared of

the vaccines and what I was learning about them, but

of all those big, bad, hairy bugs out there waiting to

pounce on my tender baby if he wasn't " protected " by

vaccines (brainwashing is hard to shake off). As I've

gained knowledge about immunity and ways to keep a

healthy immune system, I've gained faith in our

inherent ability to ward off disease if our immune

system is allowed to stay intact, and also have a

different perspective on disease. I've come to

believe that vaccines are in most cases destructive to

the body, even if no immediate adverse effects are

noticed, I believe long-term health is compromised.

It's a long road from the allopathic medical world

that most of us grow up conditioned to accept to a

more holistic view of health and disease, but as you

continue to study you'll gain confidence.

I think it's natural for a mother to want to keep her

new baby somewhat isolated, and if you feel that way,

then by all means do so. I did, when my son was tiny,

but as he grew (he's 16 months now) we gradually let

him be more " in the world " , so to speak, and we don't

live in fear of him falling victim to some wicked

virus. He's totally unvaccinated.

Also they need the shots for admission to school...so therefore there is no

need for the shots! You may also consider the medical, philosophical,or

religious exemptions(whatever is used in your state) just in case...stay

away from the docs unless necessary(you can measure and weigh at home!)

Find a homeopath for illness and also consider chiropractor to keep immune

system finctioning. I am married to a doc and we never go! Ok, I asked him

to check son'e ears and he has listened to another son's lungs. And we have

used emergency room when another son swallowed firniture polish and

gasoline(separate days...he gets around! LOL ) Check into supplements as

our food is depleted nutritionally . Also, organic foods and and

alternatives to toxic household cleaners. So much to learn! DOn't

despair...a little progress at a time is better than no progress!

.. I am

concerned about the effects vacs can have on our children and I guess

I just need all of you to validate my feelings. . He has

already been exposed to so much and been through so much I don't want

to further jeopardize his health. I am homeschooling so I won't have

to deal with the school system much, but what do I say to their drs?

Any advice/comments would be a great blessing.

Thank you in advance,

angelo,

i have good news for you and your mom! a positive result on the standard hiv tests does not mean anything. it especially does not mean that your mom has the 'supposed' hiv virus.

if hiv exists at all, those tests can not detect it's presence. the manufacturers of the tests state this plainly. do not fall into the trap.

my advice to you and your mom: burn the test results from your mind and pretend it never happened. also, check out www.virusmyth and www.aidsmyth.

a quick study will ease your mind.

god bless

keep mom off them drugs as long as possible.

really take some time to do some thinking and researching, b4 injesting

anything as toxic as hiv drugs.

i came up poz 1 year ago. my viral load was at 10,000 and my t's were at

800. i had just suffered from a bout of shingles (ya know chicken pox all

grown up). i freaked out and figred aids was just around the corner.

started on a haart program. bad choice. after 6 mos of the drugs i felt as

if i was gonna die, literally, was dropping weight, nightmares, muscle

cramps, no strength. and had absoloutely no quality of life. i quit the

drugs feb 14th.

so far so good last check t's were at 850 and viral load undetectable.

since then i have regained my weight, have lots of energy, and feel alive,

even playing hockey again. also have spent huge amounts of time on the web,

and in books researching, since then. in my humble yet uneducated opinion

i'm siding with the dissidents. my body knows best if it is sick or not,

i'll listen to it from now on.

my blood tests no longer matter to me as they are apparently flawed. if no

one has isolated a virus then what exactly are we measuring here???? this

group seems to be pretty good as far as dispersing info, but your mom's doc

will undoubtedly disagree with the philosophy contained here.

check out every possible avenue, and line of thought b4 making any quick

judgements. find out other contributing lifestyle choices that could be

leading to disease. drugs, bad diet, stress, heredity, smoking, so on and

so forth.

if you hav'nt already check out aliveandwell.org or the link to peter

duesberg's site " rethinking aids " crucial stuff and a good start.

hey angelo

what exactly are mom's symptoms? ie: why did she get a hiv test in the

first place?

i tend to agree with other members of the group. forget the test results.

stress can lead to all kinds of awful crap physically, so why ad to the

amount of stress you have to endure by constantly worrying about numbers

that really don't mean much. better to focus on mom's well being and

overall health.

there are many people out there who have been living with a hiv positive

diagnosis for almost 20 years without meds (darn near as long as the aids

epidemic has been in existance) i know 1 personally.

if you really want to get an eye opener, run " aids conspiracy " through

google and see the myriad of points of veiw that come up.

best wishes

Dear friends, I want to share some useful information with you. I

work with two acupuncturists in San Anselmo CA, who have

developed a very successful alternative treatment protocol for

hep c. The program is based around a very powerful anti-viral

supplement we developed that we call LEM Plus, the main

ingredient of LEM Plus is substance derived from shiitake

mushrooms called Lentinan Edodes Mycelium or just Lentinan.

Lentinan is a highly purified beta glucan extracted from the

mycelium (the vegetative portion of the mushroom usually found

underground). We also use Phosphatidyl Choline, Alpha Lipoic

Acid, Milk Thistle extract, Olive Leaf extract, and Selenium. We

have treated hundreds of patients in our clinic with great

success. Please feel free to visit our web site the whole

treatment program is outlined there.

Best wishes,

Moses
