I'd like to know if any of you have had a manipulation done under anesthetic

If so, how did it work for you...and were you as sore starting over as with

The surgery? I may have to have one done on my right knee, and am wondering

how long it might be before I can go back to work. Thanks for

Any input...

I did it. It didn't work. But there was no pain etc. afterwards. You can go

back to work after a couple of days.

Thanks for the response, Miriam. So did your surgeon

just tell you that it didn't work, and left you with lack of

range of motion? I have a feeling my surgeon wouldn't

be happy with that as a final result. Time will tell, I

guess.

Thanks again...

It did't work because i had the wrong implant wrongly installed by two

separate surgeons previously.

I had to go to HSS in New York to correct everything. Kuckilly I have

insurance.

Good luck

Good grief! So sorry that you had to go

Through all that, Miriam. No fun! VERY

Good that you had insurance though!

I saw my surgeon on Monday, and now he's

Thinking that my progress is good enough

That I probably won't have to have a

Manipulation. WHEW! Hope not! I'll

Keep working hard at improvement, in

Spite of the pain with physical therapy.

I just keep reminding myself " no pain,

No gain " .

Thanks again for sharing this info, Miriam.

It is appreciated!

Sincerely,

Barb Linden

I REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY PAIN AT ALL UNLESS

I TRY TO BEND THE KNEE MORE THAN IT WANTS TO

GO. RANGE OF MOTION...THAT'S THE PROBLEM!

WISH THE RANGE OF MOTION WOULD SUDDENLY

BE GOOD " OVERNIGHT ALMOST " , NO MATTER HOW

LONG IT TAKES!
