Craig,

Does this work for xanthelasma (My father, who was an optometrist, said

nothing could get rid of it)?

J.

coconut oil for skin tags?

Hi Laurie,

I've had hard growths ( some say old age growths) on my arm, on the side

of

my face and on the crown of my head and have treated them all and

removed

them with coconut oil.

I have one now on top of my ear that I'm doing. Just rub coconut oil on

the

area 1,2,or 3 times a day whenever you can and in 3-4 weeks it'll just

roll

off when you're applying oil. Rub the oil into the skin and don't leave

oil

on top the skin as it does no good and it'll just attract debris and

micro

organisms. Good luck.

Regards,

Craig

Hi, Laurie,

We've used tea tree oil on skin tags with a lot of success. I put a little

on every night; it will turn black (I know, gross) and then fall off. No

pain, either.

For the dry painful finger cracks, we use 'No Crack' cream; some drugstores

and health food stores carry it, and it's the best I've found so far that

really heals. There's a day cream (not so smelly), but we use the night

cream, since it works better and faster, and the smell isn't bad. I

originally ordered it from the Vermont Country Store site, in case you can't

find a local source.

Hope that helps!!

Hello, all.

Besides putting coconut oil in warm almon milk with carob powder, I've been

using it on hemmorhoids and also those annoying little splits you get in your

fingertips in winter. Do you think or know if VCO would " do away with " skin

tags? The doctor who used to burn them off for me has retired; and nobody does

that kind of stuff anymore, at least around here.

Thanks,

Laurie

Laurie:

In one of Dr. Fife's books, he talks about getting rid of moles and warts by

applying the oil and then covering it with one of those WATERPROOF bandages

called Tegaderm. On my shoulder I had an ugly mole that was large and flat

and would get caught on my clothes. I first went out and bought the

waterproof bandages, then waited till I knew I was going to be home for a

couple of days straight and could give this my full attention. I did not

shower or get the area wet and I DEFINITELY did NOT let it get dry either. I

kept it saturated with the oil, by lifting a corner of this bandage every

couple of hours and sliding in more oil. Within two days it was totally

gone. I would give it a try.

Bonnie:

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, this particular skin tag is anal--as in,

just inside(!) I don't know if I could stick a bandage on that!

But this renews my desire to use VCO as much as possible--it's already done

wonders for hemmorhoids (caused by straining, caused by having system cleaned

out by dental antibiotic! I'm still trying to get system back to normal)

Laurie, if I'm picturing this correctly, the skin tag is hanging by a

THREAD, is that correct? Get your doctor to cut it off then.
