Guest guest
Irene, Not only did the election committee know about Matt's recommendation page, they also approved it. Also, you fabricating LPA finance's was the real slap in the face. Rob Haines In a message dated 6/13/2004 9:38:26 AM Pacific Standard Time, elevatia@... writes: I whole-heartedly agree. Irene > Kudos and many thanks to Mayeaux for pointing out the egregious act of adding the incumbents' recommendations in the election ballot. This is supposed to be a neutral election pamphlet, not a campaign tool. As far as I'm concerned, this act really crossed the line of impropriety. > > My question is, did the elections committee know that this text would be included in the final pamphlet or was it added before it was sent to the printer? I can't imagine the committee would have approved such an obvious misuse of the election process.
Guest guest
---have seen a " cheat sheet " or recommendation page of the running candidates and by-laws.---- That was a blatant abuse of power. Who else had access to the entire LPA database, all of it's voting members and it's printing funds? I also questioned (unfortunately in a private response) if the Election Committee knew of this insertion (perhaps a question can answer, since he seems to be volunteering) or was it a last minute desperate move. With all of the blank space available, you would think in 'fair play' someone representing the opposition would have been given a chance to voice an opinion. REMINDER! Ballots MUST be postmarked by June 15th, that's Tuesday. Go Tricia!!!
