Guest guest
Hi all, I'm about to relocate to an apartment complex within about a week. There seems to be a problem, though. The apartment has controlled access, so it's sorta set up more like a hotel. You go in a main entrance, then you are inside to go into your apartment. To get to my apartment you have to walk up about 5 steps.. it's not much but... I have a scooter for going out to places that require lots of walking. I talked to them about having a ramp right there and they said that'd be up to me and out of my pocket.. and it has to be temporary.. and approved by the owners first. So my question is.. are they correct? Am I not able to require THEM to modify things? They said they'd lower my towel racks, and the rod in my closet and my door handles and they'd cover that.. but not the ramp. Thanks, Amy
