ZERO TOLERANCE, DRINKING & POKER...

Dear List Serve...

Since " MR. ANTHONY SOARES " decided to open a NEW CAN OF WHOOP

ASS regarding the zero tolerance and POKER GAMES, I Butch Carlisle should

be the one to respond to this. Let me get MY apology out right now and

say that I am SORRY for what I am about to write.

First of all , " BE A MAN " and direct anything regarding

playing poker to either myself or Patty , since WE were the ones,

that the comment was made to and not the spouses. Let me first of all

give you a little history on when it started and the people who sat at

the " TACKY POKER GAMES " if your brain can comprehend and understand.

The poker game started in DeMoine, Iowa some 20 years ago which there's a

picture of the original group taken in front of the hotel's book/bar

club. Patty was the original person who started it, along with

myself and Harry Mc.

We, not you received more complements from the HOTEL

SECURITY for making there jobs a little easier and even we've even asked

THEM to join in. We ( THE POKER PLAYERS ) , have made sure that

our LP kids stayed out of the lobby causing trouble and being

mischievous. Having a place where the kids and spouse's could come and

check in with there dads or husbands. Being able to have a NEW PARENT

join in and feel comfortable around other parents of LP'S. Having other

LP's come and ask if they could " JOIN IN " because we were having to

much fun and that they wanted to be part of it. So AS, if that's tacky, I

really feel sorry for you, since YOU don't have the BALLS to join in.

Now as far as players, Let me just give you a few names of people

who you say are tacky, drink and smoke. And oh by the way, WE do look for

a place that the smoker like myself that wont bother anyone that doesn't

smoke and we don't sit directly in front of the BALLROOM either. Let me

start out with Barty, Trombino, Gerry Graff, the late Harry

Mc, Lee Kitchens, Tim Deathridge, Dr. and many

others. So , if the gambling which is only for quarters, dimes and

nickels, the fun of meeting old as well as new people with something in

common, then I guess you can say that's TACKY. But do this, " TRY IT

SOMETIMES, YOU MIGHT LIKE IT " instead of BITCHING of what other ADULTS

not what MINORS do.
