I agree why have a 'banquet' if it isn't dressy, isnt that the

point? It sounds like just a dance now.

i've never been to a banquet of LPA's and summer of 03 was my first conference,

but i think that if people want to " dress to the nines " then go ahead, and those

who don't want to dress that fancy, at least wear khakis and a dress shirt.

that's casual, yet dressy. when i went last year, i didn't know what was going

on til my mom told me since she went to a conference a long time ago when i was

a baby, and yet, i'm sorry to say this, but i'm glad that we showed up late,

since my mom and i aren't fancy people, and we don't like to " dress to the

nines "

like i said earlier, if you want to dress fancy, go for it, and if you don't

just wear some nice clothes. not necessarily a suit or fancy dress.
