That sounds more like what you would say and I can see how paper would

misquote you in that way.

Re: 85% of dwarfs are unemployed?

Where did this statistic come from Rose? Is it an accurate percentage?

And

why are 85% of dwarfs unemployed? If that is the case, this should be

looked

into. Why is that so? Dwarfs are SHORT, not stupid, or incapable......?

Why would

SO MANY dwarfs be unemployed?

I am hoping you were exaggerating.

Okay, try this (someone who likes numbers)

Go to this site:

http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/AdvSearchByKeywordServlet?

_command=getResults & _keyword=Disability & _method=select & _programYear=38

& _synonyms=no & _lang=en

select " 2002 American Community Survey " and type in " disability "

I found the above link through this site:

http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/disability.html

There must be someone in this group who likes looking at tables and

tables of numbers and making something out of them. Sure isn't me.

Matt- I hope you sent a letter to the editor or the journalist who

interviewed you regarding the misquote- perhaps they will print a

According to the site that provided, the unemployment rate for

people with disabilities (all disabilities, age range of 21-64) is

51.2% with a difference of +/- .3%.
