Dear Rose,

My name is Stacey. An allergy test is strictly to inform you of an underlying allergy. You should know whether or not you are allergic to MOLD by your obvious reactions to it. Those allergy tests do NOTHING to help discover whether or not you actually have mold in your bloodstream and to what degree. So far, the only lab I know of that tests extensively and appropriately for MOLD poisoning and exposure is Immunoscience Laboratories in Beverly Hills, CA. I personally see and treat with Dr. in Spring, TX. What state do you live in and perhaps I can help you locate a physician who specializes in this treatment and testing. They are few and far between...those that actually know what they are doing and have real experience in this area of toxic mold. My first series of tests for mold which included a full mold and mycotoxin blood panel/profile returned with positive results on 16 species of toxic mold including stachy at extremely high levels. Let me know how I can be of further help. Best wishes to wellness!

Any one know a good doctor in Minnesota? My family doctor is referring me to an infectious disease specialist who she says is "very good." I'm not convinced that this is the direction to go. What do you think? My symptoms aren't nearly as severe as some of yours, but they are symptoms that are affecting my life. I'd really like to be able to prove that the mold at my workplace is affecting my health. Bonnie

Stacey,

Thanks for the information. I live in the state of land. I already know I am allergic to airbourne molds among other things. I have been living in this house that has high levels of molds including stachybotrys for many years and have had so many health issues along with all my kids. I would like to know to what extent it has a hold of us...i.e. in the blood, and see if there is any way of getting it out of the bloodstream once the mold and materials are removed or we move out of this house. Either way, it would be nice to know of a doctor who deals with mold health issues since my doctor and my kids' doctor don't seem to understand what I am talking about. What has your doctor done in the way of helping you detox?

Dear Rose,

I am treating with Dr. in Spring TX, whose office has performed EXTENSIVE blook work and various other tests to diagnose full blown mold exposure and mycotoxic poisoning. I was on Sporanox therapy for 60 days and am he is now prescribing IGIV therapy to eliminate the mold from the bloodstream by rebuilding my immune system. He is also an expert witness. I had to have both.

You may want to consider taking you and your children to see Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker in land. I, myself plan on switching gears here and treating with him as well. I have more of a Naturopathic mind set and do not believe in even the therapy I am on to a way to wellness and balance.

it sounds like you have a VERY serious and dangerous issue on hand, especially where your children are concerned. Please review Dr. Shoemaker's site at www.chronicneurotoxins.com and go to see him. You will be not only relieved, but also in the hands of a highly qualified physician who can get you all well. Good luck!

Does anyone know of doctors of this nmagnitude near Maine? I have been on antigen shots of mold and have started to react violently to them. My body heats up, and I shake and get my mold symptoms back. This causes me to be nervous about my new doctor.

Thanks

Janet

Janet,

The closest doctor to you would be Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker in land. Consider yourself blessed to be this close to him. If you do your homework as many of us have, you will discover that Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker is probably the best you can find. His website is: www.chronicneurotoxinis.com Taking those allergy injections is dangerous and DOES NOT help get rid of the problem. I wouldn't take those if my life depended on it and yours does. I wish you wellness in search for medical care. Sometimes you have to travel great distancess to get appropriate care, but your health is worth it. Goodluck!

I went to an infectious disease specialist, he told me that I should have plastic surgery on my nose, to open up the nostrils more, since I was getting short of breath. He could find nothing else. Do yourself a favor, and go to a toxicologist and a neurologist. If they can't see it, then go to a mold specialist.

Hope this helps,

Brad

First thing is to remove " Allergy " from your vocabulary.

Allergists are looking at the wrong immune reaction for answers.

They only make things worse by introducing small amounts of toxins

into someone already sensitized for a chemical response.

I agree about Shoemaker.

Brad,

This reminds me of the orthopod who said, "If your knees don't get better we could operate" - after finding nothing wrong with my knees at all - they hurt because of quinolone damage to the tendons but no tears, no lack of cartiledge - what is he going to operate on?

I just saw Shoemaker a month ago and have a follow-up phone consult tomorrow. I agree he is excellent. He may not have the solutions yet, but he is looking under the right rocks. Also, he takes Medicare, if you have that he is affordable. He takes insurance but some of the lab tests are not covered well - Shoemaker's office works with you on this.

If you stay in that workplace, your symptoms will increase and there is a point of no return. Get out while you can, then prove it, in that order.
